Had an amazing moving experience with Michael’s Moving and Storage. I had a last minute move that needed to be done with less than a week’s notice. Michael’s was super accommodating and was able to get me moved 3 days after I called! The whole move only took about 2 1/2 hours including getting everything set up in my new apartment, and were also able to take care of junk removal for me! Everything was moved in perfect condition, including 4 mirrors which I was most worried about. The movers were extremely nice and accommodating, and the price was not nearly as expensive as I thought it would be. Turned a day that would’ve taken me 12+ hours and a lot of pain on my own, to an easy 3 hour experience. Highly recommend!

We used Micheal’s moving and storage for moving our business studio. Normally moving is always stressful but Micheal’s team made the whole move very easy and stress free. We initially talked to Sophina, who was very informative and helpful. She helped us with doing our inventory, provided us a very accurate quote and answered all our questions. We chose partial packaging package. On the day of the move three gentleman Angel, Sigfredo and Milton arrived right on time. We did a quick run down of the whole place and they got to work. They were very careful with all of our belongings and moved even the heavy items with ease. I know for a fact that I would have screwed up my back if we didn’t hire them. We were being charged by an hour but these three gentlemen were so quick that they finished one hour before than we expected. I’m so happy with our decision to hire Micheals. Used them for a move from Boston to Chicago. Did lots of comparison shopping and seemed to be the best reviewed and most reasonably priced. Movers were excellent. Very skilled and did a great job. Actual price was fairly close to the quote. Only reason for 4 stars was that it took 17 days to deliver our stuff and I had to be more proactive asking for updates. Need to give a special shout out to Hilbert, who was amazing and moved our entire 3 bed house BY HIMSELF in like 4 hours.

I have used Michael’s Moving five times and it will soon be six in the past four years and they honestly have been the best helpers on the planet. When I had a gap in my housing they were able to store my stuff and it was such a reasonable price. Brian takes care of me at the hiring level, gets Freddieand the crew all set, always the right number of guys, and I’m always happy to give them a good tip because all of them are careful and care about this move as much as you do. I have never had a problem with anybody at Michael’s, wonderful phone staff, excellent foreman, fantastic crewmen… They did help me out by moving some of my friends’ things one time, and now those women have given them a bad review even though Michael’s did a super job, they are petty and have a problem with me, they were not Michael’s client, I was. I always hire Michael’s again and again because they get the job done well, very well! every time!!

I spent weeks packing and organizing and planning, maybe even agonizing. And then they moved it all in just a few hours with no hassles, no surprises, and no damage.They were very courteous and extremely efficient. You wouldn’t necessarily think that movers are artists, but they are. Every single thing they do shows so much thought and care for both the building and your items. And the way they navigate space with large items is amazing.As far as price and value, I couldn’t be happier. I have used Michael’s Movers on multiple occasions over the past few years for my kids’ moves in the greater Boston area and to and from NYC. They are reliable, professional, friendly and knowledgeable about every aspect of what can be a stressful experience. From Bryan in the office to every moving team member I have met, the kindness and professional manner they have shown has been outstanding. The movers are amazingly adept at disassembling furniture and then reassembling it in minutes. They carry heavy and awkward items with ease and take great care with each and every item they move. I would highly recommend Michael’s Movers for their value as well as their extremely capable staff.

Quick and efficient, though they do charge a four hour minimum incl. travel so expect to spend a minimum of $800I do think it’s very worth it overall though if you can afford it

For a person who’s moved many times in my life, with movers and without, I have to hand it to these guys! They were on time or early, they brought any tool or supply that we didn’t have, were super communicative, asked for a tour before hand to see what items were going and which ones were not, as was in our case, we ran out of smaller boxes and these guys took any precaution I would have, had I packed the items myself. I realized this while I unpacked. They were amazingly fast and methodical from the quote to the last moment. We were done by one pm, they began at 8:30, and that included the hour drive in route 95 traffic! Thanks so much!!

Had to move on a short notice and this was no problem for Michael’s Moving Company. The friendly office staff surveyed my living situation, calculated supplies, travel distance, etc.. and quoted me a price I could not refuse. (Especially since other companies in town were quoting me almost $1,000 more than Michael’s) The team was extremely professional and made the move effortless. We were moving from a awful 3rd floor attic, and the team of three that arrived were professional and thoughtful when moving our things down a spiral staircase. Having them made our move so much easier, and had a competitive price compared to other movers in the area.

I had a great experience with Michael’s Moving with my move last week – we had a large truck coming from a 2 bed, 2 bath with a good amount to pack up. To make matters more difficult, it was a 95 degree day. The crew of 3 were fantastic – fast but super responsible with packing strategies. Happy to report, nothing broke! Generally, just really nice guys. Would recommend!

I’ve moved several times over in my life and I can say without hesitation that my experience with Michael’s Movers was the best to date. I am impressed with every aspect of Michael’s Moving. We needed to move up two flights of stairs. Bryan called me and had me walk through every piece of furniture and helped me estimate how many boxes we would have. He gave me an estimate that was comparable to others I had, but I picked them for their responsiveness and thorough inventory-taking. The 3 movers who showed up didn’t disappoint. Hilberth, Eris, and Santiago were gentle, impressively strong, and kind. Michaels did a move for my mother from Mass. to Conn. The movers did a great job of loading the truck of an overwhelmingly large amount of belongings and furniture and pictures and pots and pans and boxes and clothes and tons of other stuff (most of which needs to be purged….). We used Michael’s moving company to pack/load a container for a long distance international move. The crew was very professional and quick. Upon unloading we were relieved there wasn’t a scratch on any of our items or furniture. Highly recommend them.

I also had access to this quote through an online portal. We moved forward with scheduling our move for a weekend, and it was great to know there was no price difference between a weekday or weekend.

I used Michael’s to move all my furniture out of the living & dining rooms and the kitchen as I had to redo my wood floors. The team headed by Felix was very patient and understood the sentimental value and attachment I had to some of the pieces. Both moving the furniture out and then late moving it back, they took time and care with everything and were so so patient with me. I would not hesitate to use them again.

We’ve used Michael’s Moving and Storage twice now. Once on 9/1, the craziest moving day in Boston; and another to move 45 minutes outside the city into a house. Both times, we were blown away by their professionalism, efficiency, and care for our items. They’re knowledgeable and courteous. 10/10.

I’ve moved several times over in my life and I can say without hesitation that my experience with Michael’s Movers was the best to date. They got everything right — Bryan in sales was helpful, our crew was exceptional, and the price was right.

We used them for an out of state move — Boston to Philadelphia — and had Miguel, Juan, and Milton as the crew. They called before arriving and got right to work. They moved our entire apartment on the third floor in about 2 hours and that included a very impressive couch hoist over our balcony. They were friendly, respectful, and accommodating the entire time.

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, we got lucky and had the same crew the next day for delivery. They were prompt and again got right to work. They were fast, efficient, and very helpful — always wanting to make sure things were going to the right floor and the right room. Once again, they unloaded into our new house in what felt like record time. I can’t recommend them enough! Seriously. Nothing broke and they handled everything with care.

I hope I never move again, but if I did, I’d hope Michael’s will come to us in Philly again. 10/10.

I highly recommend Michael’s Moving! We moved a 2 bedroom apartment with 4 flights of stairs from the South End to JP. The customer service team were very helpful answering my questions and helped put my stress at ease. The moving team was lead by Cesar and he came with 2 other awesome movers. They were very polite, humble, and professional. They did an amazing job moving our expensive furniture around tight spaces and handled everything with care. The team also took apart our bed, table and couch with ease and reassembled it at the new apartment with no problem at all. We could not have done our move without Cesar and his team!

We hired movers for the first time ever and had THE BEST experience with Michael’s! We witnessed how fast and professional they were last year when our friends hired them, and we knew they would be our first choice when we eventually moved our three-bedroom house. The initial customer service over the phone was top-notch; the gentleman I spoke with was friendly, patient, and very knowledgable. The quote he gave was accurate to the final price, they had a small, reasonable deposit, and the rates were affordable. The day of the move, Roberto and his team were courteous, extremely hard-working, and considerate of our belongings. Roberto himself was an exemplary leader, and was patient and understanding with all the requests we had. They were the most helpful team I could have imagined. The whole process was slick from beginning to end. Michael’s Moving will be our go-to for any of our future moves in the Boston area, and we now strongly recommend them to friends and family!

Hilbreth Ramas and his very capable crew were wonderful for my move from Chelsea, MA to Hampstead, NH (I was moving from a rental condo to a single family home). They packed me up on a Thursday and then moved me on Friday. They showed on time, were hard working, very professional, and extremely careful. These went above and beyond to ensure my move was as smooth as possible. A truly great team to work with.

About a month ago, we hired Michael’s after seeing positive reviews here on Yelp, as well as on FB Parents Groups reviews/recommendations. The person I dealt with over the phone was Ian. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. He answered calls and returned calls very quickly. We used them for a local move within the same town/city. The prices were competitive, and they were flexible on the day and times. (Of course, we were using them in a ‘slow’ moving period, so I’m sure it was relatively easy for them to be flexible.)

The three person crew showed up on time, were professional, friendly, and offered assistance many times to do anything that was needed (moving things around, putting other things together, etc). The move took approximately 6 hours. Overall, they did a great job.

We had a couple of minor concerns/issues, and when I called Michael’s to discuss, the rep we spoke with was Ian, once again. He was very receptive to my explanation of the problem, but more importantly, offered me a refund of part of the agreed payment. And, that refund was issued almost immediately! So, a possible 4 star review, went right back up to 5 stars, because of the positive way they handled the situation. No one is perfect, but when one owns up to a mistake or issue, and ‘makes it right’, it shows what type of person/company they are. I will be using them again in about a month for an out of state move for my mother.

They do a great job, and are very communicative. Price is about the same as everywhere else, overall, highly recommend.

Such a great experience! Michael’s was fabulous. They were cheaper than any other movers I contacted, professional, thorough, on time, responsive etc. Moving is a big stressor but Michael’s helped alleviate some of that stress. I have moved with Michael’s a handful of times now, and I cannot say enough good things about the company. Their Sales Manager, Bryan, even offered to come out and take an inventory for our most recent move because we’ve acquired so much over the years, and he didn’t want our final bill to have any surprises (and because the movers were so quick and efficient, our bill ended up being even less than the initial quote! Seriously, we love these guys!). The movers are all so friendly and polite, and they have never broken anything. Seriously, this company has been around forever and there’s a reason for it – they really are the best!

Miguel and his Team were awesome! Quickly moved everything out of our house down to full glass fish tanks with care. Very efficient, from Ian himself to the movers to the drivers. The move was not stressful at all. They accommodated every request and knew perfectly where to place our furniture. Highly recommended.

Reliable, efficient, and friendly. I give them my highest recommendation. True professionals. Hilberth, Jaime, and Alejandro communicated very well, and were so fast! I had an Ikea bedframe that was stripped, but Hilberth found a way to disassemble and assemble it, which I know was very challenging. Moving day is so stressful, and they made a stressful day much easier.

I had an office move to plan and luckily came across Michael’s moving and storage, they scheduled me in for a move a week later. Ian was great in helping me figure out how many hours I needed and giving me an estimate. They called me to 30 mins before they were arriving. Handled the parking of the truck really well in the narrow lane that we were moving out of. The movers arrived in time helped with some packing and moved our items over. We had a lot of items that needed moving and they were very efficient. I would definitely use them again.

The crew from Michael’s were fast and friendly. The three person crew cleared our 1,000 sq ft condo in an hour. Everything was neatly packed and then unloaded according to our instructions.

The quoting process was done over the phone and took about 10 mins to talk through all the rooms in order to get an accurate quote. Actually the final cost ended up being almost half the original quote because we went ahead and moved a lot of the little items. It is nice that they adjust the price to the actual hours worked.

The crew was very friendly and professional. They took several heavy items up 3 flights of stairs with a smile. Not a single item was damaged.

Arranging for delivery of hotels patio furniture was handled efficiently and without concern. Received email confirmation and a reminder a day or so prior to delivery. Team was on-time and willing to take direction from our team on placement without any hesitation. All furniture was properly wrapped and they removed all debris at completion. Will certainly be using Michaels services in the fall when it is time to again store.

I hadn’t used movers previously, but they were all so efficient and careful with my things. I moved from a first floor to a third floor and they got everything up very quickly – including a piano! I would definitely use them again if I move!

They loaded the truck in less than an hour and brought all my furniture up four flights of stairs in my new apartment without any issues. Nothing has any signs of damage and the crew were so friendly and took away so much of the stress that comes with a big move. Will absolutely recommend to anyone I know looking for a mover!

Our move with Michael’s was smooth and stress free! Our three movers for the day were very friendly and efficient, and were able to move us out of our large two bedroom upstairs unit into our new place in 3.5 hours, which is a fraction of the time it took when we last moved. They were careful with our furniture and wrapped items well, and nothing was damaged. Great value, customer service was also very responsive and easy to deal with. We will definitely book this company again for our next move!

We just used Michael’s Movers for a move from Cambridge to Boston and we were amazed at how great they were. The team who moved us (3 guys) was incredibly efficient, friendly, and careful with our stuff. We were shocked at how fast everything was out of the old apartment and into the new one! Excellent would be the word. We had another mover, who fell short only days before a major move. I called Michael’s, because they were highly recommended on a local Dad’s group page, on a Sunday, mere 3 days before the move. I heard back from Eli right away. He was able to answer all my questions, and confirm our move that day. When Miguel and his team showed up at exactly the time they said, I knew the move was going to be handled properly and it was. He and his team were careful, professional and very nice. Making, what is usual a stressful day, about as easy it could be. I not only would recommend them but would use them again, even though we hope not to move again anytime soon.

Miguel and his team did an excellent job moving my stuff. Of course they were late but it was on Wednesday morning and I’m pretty sure there was heavy traffic. Despite that, Miguel provided me updates and I appreciate that movers update me. Professionally they did a good job. I’ll use them again.

Moved last month from and everyone I interacted with from booking Michaels movers to the moving staff were incredibly nice and great at their job, it made the whole process feel like a weight off our shoulders!

Michaels did an amazing job..I researched a ton of spots and they were best with customer service and value. They were much cheaper than Giant and other competitors and did a fantastic job. They were super responsive, extremely efficient and absolutely no issues at all with fragile and delicate items. They were also great at finishing packing some of our items that needs extra care, and reassembled some major furniture pieces in the exact rooms we wanted. We ended up relying on them for some supplies here and there and for proper boxes, etc which can add up so would recommend you pack as much yourself.

I can’t recommend Michael’s Moving and Storage enough! We used them a few months back for a local move that required us to store our belongings for two nights before we could move into our new place. The team was super responsive and friendly during the planning process, and I couldn’t have been happier with the crew who moved us both out of our old place and into the new. I needed movers in a hurry. I easily made my reservation online and then spoke to the nicest rep on the phone. They called 1/2 hour before they arrived, handles my items with care. One item I had is a glass curio cabinet that was my moms and they took extra special care of it . r my destination they , looked around inside first and carefully but quickly worked together to bring everything in. 3 of the nicest men I have met, worked hard and got my move down quick and efficiently. i highly recommend Michaels and will def use them again. I had a great experience with Michael’s moving I moved from California to Texas they were professional, fast and took great care with my things. When they picked up my items I had some concerns with fragile items I packed, he repacked it for me. They went over my boxes and all my items and confirmed it with the invoice. They loaded my things with great care. My things were set to arrive 2 weeks later approximately however they arrived before I did. It’s a good thing my daughter and son in law were able to meet the movers. All my things arrived and the only thing that was damaged was the corner of a side table. The only thing that could have made this experience any better was if they had communicated the arrival date. Overall I had a great experience and I will be using them again when I move.

Moved a from studio from Everett to Brookline 3 man crew. I moved from a building with elevator to a basement studio brownstone no elevator on a holiday weekend. My appointment was from 1-4. So I reserved the elevator from 1p-4p. At 2:30p get the call on the way. Call leasing office oh yeah will unlock the elevator oh by the way we are closing early at 4p. So you have an hour to hold the elevator! Well guess what Gabriel & 2 other awesome dudes not a issue they were done in less than an hour & were loading up the truck with 15-20m to spare. I had another stop in Brookline line to pick up a free sofa. They got it with ease even helped take an unwanted shelf down to the dumpster. So professional & fast I highly suggest you book Michael’s moving.

This local moving company blew us away! They were all very pleasant to work with, speedy and efficient, and considerate with our furniture and other items we moved. The three man crew also observed the expected COVID precautions by being masked at all times inside and out of the home. After I did some searching around for a moving company within the Boston area, I came across Michael Moving & Storage. I had three guys to move me from a 2 bedroom. They arrived earlier than expected and were really nice!As soon as we got into the apartment, they began to work. I appreciated the fact that they communicated with me when unsure about where furniture was going to be placed or which rooms the boxes were going to. They worked as a team, very organized, fast but took great care of my items during the move.Moving can be super stressful, but they literally took all my worry away. At the end of the move, I was happy and satisfied with the entire process from start to finish.

We have used Michael’s 5 times in last few years for ourselves and family members the last time was jan 30. From Winthrop to central Ma.
I just have to say how professional the three guys were and polite I’m amazed every time we use them everything is wrapped and taped up so nothing has ever been scratched or dented. This includes the walls and ceilings and floors of where we came from and moved to. I have move on my own when I was younger and after watching them and how incredible a job they do I would never do it myself or ask friends to do it. I’ve heard others use places cheaper and less reputable than Michael’s and they ended up claiming 12k dollars in damage to their furniture and new house. We can’t say enough but thank you very much for another incredible experience moving with you!!!

From my first interaction with the team at Micheal’s I was impressed. The crew was fantastic. Jonathan, Manuel and Francisco were polite and professional throughout the move. I had never hired a moving company before and felt kind of weird about people touching my stuff but they all made me feel instantly at ease with their demeanor. My roommates and I recently had to move due to a fire in our building. Michael’s Movers were incredible. They provided a very detailed quote and showed up on time . Due to the water damage our elevator was broken so the movers took all of our stuff down 5 flights of stairs and then up 5 flights at our new apartment. DESPITE this they kept their masks on the entire time — i get winded just walking up the stairs NOT carrying any boxes so im sure this was difficult for them. They were polite, careful, and made a stressful experience a lot better. Thank you so so much!

We couldn’t have asked for a better and easier experience with Michael’s movers. My husband and I got the full pack package for our studio apartment to be moved into our new condo. Leo, Caesar and Manuel packed and moved the entire place in less than 3 hours. They were friendly the entire move and were careful in packing our belongings–not one thing was broken. We had a very big cross-country move from Providence to Seattle, and our moving crews were excellent. Felix and his crew were diligent and speedy in picking up our items, and his inventory list was thorough. I especially want to recognize Hilberth for his Herculean effort in both driving the moving truck to Seattle AND unloading our items upon arrival. He was careful with our things, professional, and a great communicator. On top of that, he even helped us with our TV mount at our new home. Hilberth is Superman. It was a local move, but we had three bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, and living room to take care of on second and third floor. Would definitely use again and recommend!

Our move couldn’t have been simpler. The moving team was timely, professional, and efficient. They knew that we were paying by the hour and they made it show with their work ethic and efficiency. They were super careful and would ask for approval before proceeding with delicate items and/or with pushing things up stairs that they thought could cause a scratch or would be an issue to the structure. Michael’s moving company made the move easy and seamless. When I called to book the movers, Crystal was so great. She walked through the process and the quote she gave me was pretty accurate. I had to call them back and reschedule 3 times due to some complications with the landlord and the previous tenant. Crystal helped us rescheduled without any problems or penalty. The movers showed up on time and finished everything in under 4 hours. I didn’t get all of their names but Felipe was the manager and he 3 guys with him (Jose, Willie, and one other guy). They were all professional, polite, and just really good at what they do. They finished the job and not a single scratch on any of our furniture. Will definitely keep them in mind for our next move.

It turns out that we were not the only ones leaving California and moving companies were in short supply. The original mover we planned to use couldn’t load the truck until AFTER our house closed and the new owners would have moved in. Lowest quote, most attentive in getting back to me, and fastest move! Moved a one-bedroom apt. from Cambridge to JP in 2.5 hours TOTAL door-to-door, including breaking down and rebuilding a bedframe. I contacted Michael’s Movers with a pretty quick turnaround of a week…and they happily obliged. And they happily obliged moving the date up a day when I found out I couldn’t move in on a Sunday. They showed up on time to the three different pick up locations I had, quickly and professionally moved everything onto the truck and did the same when we reached the final destination. They had a problem fitting the couch into the elevator and it wouldn’t fit into the stairwell until one of the crew members made a slight adjustment and in it went up the stair case. The crew all wore masks, cleaned up all the moving and packing debris and were an amazingly professional group. It was nerve wracking enough for what was happening but the crew and office staff made it so smooth and easy.

I needed to store some heavy furniture for a few weeks while my floors were refinished. I requested quotes from several companies, including a popular firm that I’ve hired before, but their price was twice what Michaels estimated. Michaels Movers picked everything up on schedule and returned things several weeks later in exactly the same condition as when they left. I specifically requested environmentally controlled storage because it was August and they were storing a piano and refrigerator. They used cardboard to protect a glass front cabinet, and wrapped everything carefully in moving quilts and plastic wrap. This was a small move, just 5 large items, but they gave everything careful attention. When returning, they even helped me clean off the furniture feet and apply new felt pads to protect the newly finished floor. All the workers were clean and respectful, helpful and friendly. Their website was quite useful after I poked at it a bit; I was able to edit the list of items, add photos, and message them my questions and changes as needed, and received quick replies. I highly recommend Michaels Movers.

Update – I reviewed this post and realized that it is almost a duplicate of the one I made after they took the furniture to storage back in July, So really all I needed to say was that the furniture came back from storage just fine and they were just as nice as they were before.

I can’t say thank you enough to Michael’s Moving & Storage. We just completed a long distance move from Boston to Florida with 4 months of storage in their storage facility. Every step of the way was a pleasure. From the initial quote, to scheduling, to packing up the truck in Boston, to storage in Boston, and finally to unloading it in Florida, it was nothing but a great experience. The movers did an incredible job disassembling furniture and wrapping everything to protect it. Upon delivery, they reassembled everything perfectly. Both crews were efficient, kind, respectful, and incredibly careful. I was so worried about every item we owned being in storage for 4 months, but everything arrived just as we had left it – boxes still in perfect condition, no damage, and absolutely no evidence of pests of any kind! Communication was great, price was amazing. We have done several long and short distance moves, and Michael’s Moving & Storage was BY FAR the best – don’t even bother looking anywhere else!

I’ve moved twice with Michael’s Moving and Storage–their team is AMAZING! Incredibly efficient, careful, professional, and detail oriented. It was such a relief to know that my furniture was in excellent hands. Both times I did full service moves and it was definitely worth the money.

We just used Michael’s Movers to move out of our condo in Boston to a storage space out of state and were very impressed with their professionalism. Their rate was very competitive and the three guys that moved us were respectful of our belongings and conscientious throughout the whole move- they all wore masks while carrying our things out of our home and into the storage facility.

We packed our boxes ourselves, but they would have done the packing for us if we needed the service. They showed up with extra packing supplies on site in case we needed any additional last minute boxes/tape and carefully wrapped our furniture in pastic and blankets as needed to transport them safely.

This is the second time I’ve used Michael’s for a move in the greater Boston area (I live in Chelsea). Hands down the best moving service I’ve ever used. We used Michael’s Movers in August 2020. It was the best moving experience we could have had! 10/10 without question! We had about 8 items (including a mattress, bed frame, couch, etc.) that needed to be moved. The moving team arrived on time. Within about 4 minutes, our couch and coffee table were already out of our apartment! I couldn’t believe how quickly the team was working. They loaded our items, drove 25 minutes to our new house, and unloaded all the items all within 2 hours! It was incredible. They also positioned our couch in different places so we could figure out the best location for it (which I greatly appreciated). The moving team was very friendly and professional. I am still amazed that they did all this work within such a short amount of time. There are many moving companies in the Boston area but I am SO happy we chose Michael’s Movers. We want to thank Michael’s Moving and Storage of Boston. Their team was amazing. They arrived on time, assessed the storage unit and asked for input and instructions and took care of all of our belongings as if they were their own. When arriving at our new home (an hour and half away) they again walked through the home prior to unloading. I just stood there and told them which room it was going to and they moved everything and also set up bedding and our dining room table. We have unpacked the majority of our boxes and only had one coffee cup broken (probably on me) no damage at all and they took extra care to clean up any packing material/wrapping/tape that was around. We have used movers before and these guys are by far the best and very reasonable in pricing.

Moving is always stressful and having your truck in storage for a night and it being driven to a new state is even more stressful. My crew from Michael’s was exceptional. Early on day 1 of the move. Beyond efficient with my partial pack. One person packed the kitchen while the other two got everything else wrapped and prepped to move down the elevator to the truck. Day 2 they hit traffic but kept me updated on their arrival time. The parking spot for the truck wasn’t very convenient to the door and it was 100 degrees out but they still worked hard and efficiently. They made sure everything was where I wanted it before they left to return to Boston.

I’ve moved a few times in my life. This was my second move with a company as an adult and this whole company was impressive. Polite and thorough office staff. Hard working and polite moving crew (never saw their masks off either!) I highly highly recommend Michael’s.

It was our first time using movers and we are never going back! We called 3 companies in the Boston area, and Michael’s (and Roy’s) gave us the best per-hour rates. There was a confirmation call the day before and the rep answered all of our questions patiently. On the day of the move, the movers came right on time, wrapped and packed everything professionally, and finished unloading at the new address within the time period we were originally quoted – even though we had underestimated the amount of stuff we were moving. Just hired them for a move from Boston to Western MA. They arrived on time, communicated well, were very friendly, professional and chill. We were living in a 4th floor walk up in Beacon Hill with tight stairs. They very gracefully moved their truck multiple times so other large trucks could pass by on the thought street. They even disassembled and reassembled our bed without even asking. It took them a bit long to travel to the new place but probably understandable given it’s a large truck.

Michaels moving service was top notch! Miguel helped us on a long move from NYC to Boston and they were nothing but professional the entire time. Everything was moved in a timely manner and arrived just as it looked before it was loaded in the truck. Additionally, this team took the time to place all of our furniture to our liking. Recently had a great experience with Michael’s – the process was straight forward and the entire team was very responsive. Setting up was as easy as walking through each room/item and the quote was accurate. The day-of team could not have been better. The three guys were early, responsive, and very kind. This was my first time using a moving service and I moved locally in the Boston area. We’ve moved more than the average family. Sometimes we’ve had mom and pop movers, sometimes totally done it ourselves, and occasionally hired a ‘big name’ company. Our move TO Boston (with a well-known group) was a disaster, so when it came time for another multi-state move, we were NERVOUS.

I’m not sure what inspired me to call Michael’s, but I couldn’t be happier that I did. They were insanely careful with all of our things…I’ve never seen my piano wrapped as cautiously. We finished unpacking the last of our things today, and NOTHING broke. We’ll be using them again!

We called Michael’s Moving & Storage to arrange for them to empty a UBox at a local U-Haul facility and move the contents to our daughter’s new apartment. The entire process was professionally handled even though there were many moving parts… IE getting the key to the unit to Michael’s, working with our daughter’s work schedule, etc. Our salesman, Bryan, was very helpful, responsive, and friendly and really made me feel comfortable that this move was going to work fine without me being there. The movers themselves were also excellent, according to our daughter. I would HIGHLY recommend using Michael’s Moving & Storage and will contact them for future moves for our daughter.

Had the best experience with Michael’s Movers. We booked way ahead of time in anticipation of the hectic 9/1 move in date in Boston. I was in contact with Bryan and Ian in the days leading up to the move and both were more than happy to answer questions and they were able to accommodate our early morning schedule. On moving day three super nice men arrived on time and they took excellent care of our things. They wrapped up the furniture that needed it and they carried things down our 4 flights of stairs with ease. I have no complaints & would definitely hire this company again.

I had never moved before, so I was extremely stressed during the whole process. Michael’s Movers handled my long-distance move with care and professionalism. Once I saw how everything was carefully padded and packed, my stress level went down considerably. The delivery was just as seamless and it was delivered by most of the same people that picked up the items. Everything was assembled and placed exactly where I wanted it. A few days after the delivery, Michael called me to make sure everything was all set. That was a nice touch that I was not expecting.

One slight drawback was that I sometimes had trouble reaching them on the phone if I had questions between when I booked the move and when the items were picked up and delivered. Michael explained that the office was a little short-staffed during the time of my move, so I understand that.

I absolutely recommend Michael’s Moving and Storage to anyone and will use them if I need to move again.

Greatly appreciate Michael getting involved, and addressing the issue. Ideally it would have been fixed a year ago, but kudos to Michael for fixing this and taking care of a repeat customer.

Michael’s movers were great! They moved me into a storage unit a few months ago and I requested the same crew (Angel, Sigfredo, Manuel) for my move out of the unit and into a house. These guys clearly know their stuff, we even got my couch in! They took great care moving into the place and didn’t touch the walls or damage anything, and had great suggestions for furniture placement. I hope I don’t move again soon, but if I do I’ll definitely use them!

These guys are awesome. I used them to moved back from Hayward California to Brighton Ma in the past and figure I use them again. They are affordable and great to work with. This was our second move in 8 months after living in our house for over 35 years. Our first move was with the help of friends and family and its was a great move for its price ($0.00) and distance, about 1 mile, it was what would be expected. My friends were very generous with their time and great with their resources but even a free move can me nerve racking. Angel, Jose, and Felix arrived on time and got right to work. Our estimate was a little short because after living somewhere for 35 years there a lot of accumulation and 8 months wasn’t enough time to continue with our cleaning out of our crap. Amazing moving company! We were left in a tight bind when the first moving company we hired fell through. Michaels Moving came in within 1 hour we called and they were able to move in our entire Uhaul Truck in less than 1 hour, including a really heavy sectional couch up 4 flights of stairs! For the actual moving, George went above and beyond. He drove through the night to get from Boston to Charlotte on time and unpacked the truck by himself while being super careful with our things. As a plus, he was such a nice guy, what a pleasure to have him help us out when a move can be so stressful. This team really wants to do a good job and they are some of the most hardworking gentlemen I’ve ever met. I can’t recommend them more.

These guys are AMAZING!!!!! We had a short notice move going long distance from Boston to Miami. Thank you Bryan for making it happen. Michael’s movers were careful in my home wrapping, packing, and loading our furniture and boxes, and also went out of their way to expedite our move making the transition soooo easy. Our move with Michael’s was smooth and stress free! Our three movers for the day were very friendly and efficient, and were able to move us out of our large two bedroom upstairs unit into our new place in 3.5 hours, which is a fraction of the time it took when we last moved. Michael’s movers was recommended to me from a friend of a friend who had used them twice in the past few years. So I decided to give them a call. I compared their prices / estimates with several other local movers and they were right in line. So with that and the recommendation I decided to give them a try. I was glad I did!! I got 3 great guys and the entire process from the estimate, to scheduling, arrival, etc. everything was professional. Everyting was appropriately packed and protected (without over doing it). They disassembled and reassembled everything perfectly!! They kept on schedule, everything arrived safetly – nothing missing or damaged. I don’t think I can say enough great things about my experience with Michael’s Moving and specifically George and his team. I should begin with, we move A LOT for work and have experience with interstate and cross country situations, so I feel very confident in saying that this was by far the best move we have gone through.
From the beginning there was clear communication and a great online portal that made it super easy for me to make sure I had all my documentation and all of the prep work completed. Bryan was attentive in my booking and follow up questions and very proactive leading up to the day of the move.
On moving day George met us with enthusiasm and professionalism and his team actually looked happy to be there. They took everything so quickly and yet treated each of our pieces with so much care.
We will move again, that’s almost a guarantee and I will use Michael’s when we do – you should as well.

Michael’s Moving and Storage was incredibly quick to make this experience right after seeing how unsatisfied I was. It was an honest oversight that my last e-mail got overlooked by Michael’s, and Brian immediately called me to make things right. Admittedly, I came in VERY hot with my initial review, so I’m appreciative that Brian was friendly and cordial when resolving my issues.

Despite the hiccups with billing, the move itself was actually great. Felix’s team was moving quickly and managed to complete the job in our limited time window. All of our furniture was well wrapped and transported, and nothing was damaged in the move. Felix was even helpful in doing things like arranging the furniture and setting up the bedframe.

Overall, it’s very clear that Michael’s Moving cares about its customers and wants everybody to be satisfied with their service. Readers can clearly see how angry I was in my initial review, and after resolving this issue with them, my tune has changed completely.

I hired Michael’s moving last minute based on there reviews! They did a great job. They arrived in there allotted start window and were very professional- Felix was the lead mover with 2 other guys that did a great job. They went over by about an hour of the quoted time but there were no hidden fees- only 1 hr more than quoted amount. I would absolutely recommend Michael’s and will use them in future moves.

This is my second time hiring Michaels Moving and storage. Three years ago they moved me from Philadelphia to Boston. The move was very smooth and within the estimate they gave me. As a satisfied client I decided to call them again. This time I hired them to help me relocate from Boston to a town home in Waltham.

On the day of the move the movers called me to let me know that they are on their way which was nice of them. This gave me time to go get coffee for them and me. When they arrived I was amazed how quick and efficient they are. The movers were carrying two-three boxes at the same time, and some of my boxes were very heavy.

I needed help packing some of my last minute items that I was still using such as kitchen, shoes and jackets. What I really liked about the crew was that whatever I asked them, the respond was ‘no problem.’ The boxes they packed were labeled so I didn’t have trouble finding what I needed. They even packed my shoes precious shoes individually with paper so they don’t scratch. I have moved over 12 times and this is my first time seeing this. It just blew my mind.

Moving is very stressful. The way the guys were handling my furniture made me relax. When I moved to Boston I bought some very expensive furniture. After I saw how they protected everything with blankets, my heart went back to normal.

When we arrived at my new place, the movers helped me to arrange the furniture the way I wanted. I had them move the location of my bed twice, and when I asked them I received the same respond, ‘no problem.’

My wife and I just moved from downtown Boston to the suburbs and had a great experience with Michael’s. First, they were roughly half the price of other companies that we were discussing. Their website is also user friendly and lets you get very detailed for getting quotes. This allowed us to get the most accurate online quote of anywhere we looked. We still chose to have a sales consultant visit us and look in person to confirm, but the prices were nearly identical. The consultant also visited our home less than 24 hours after we requested it. The actual move itself was seamless. The movers were on time and extremely quick. Everything was done efficiently and all of our stuff made it to our new home in the same condition that we had left it. Overall, great experience with Michael’s.

I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews about Michael’s, but I have had EXTREMELY great experiences with them. They showed up on time, did a great job, and the price was reasonable. I’ve used them twice in the past three years for local moves in Boston.

1st move:
– I moved out of an apartment in Cambridge on August 30th, and they stored everything for 3 days, and then they moved me into the North End on September 2nd, AKA HELL MOVING TIME IN BOSTON. My North End apartment was on the 4th floor with no elevator and narrow stair cases. They worked fast and efficiently and figured out how to get every piece of furniture up into my apartment. They were very flexible as well with any issues that came up. It was street cleaning day, and they moved the truck and let the cleaner go by and barely skipped a beat. They made my stressful move so much easier.

2nd move:
-Out of the North End apartment and to Arlington, with one stop at a storage unit. This move had a lot more stuff. The three guys I worked with were great. They were fast, and took care with my belongings. They even repackaged a few items because they told me they were concerned it might not be safe. Even with 4 flights of stairs on every trip, they were in and out in no time. It was amazing to watch.
-Next stop was the storage unit. We had a packed 4x8x8 storage unit that took myself, my boyfriend, and his dad 3 hours to load up. It took the team 20 minutes to unload it and load it into the truck. I WAS AMAZED, and a little embarrassed it took us so long!
-Unloading time. It had just started to rain and I was really worried about my stuff getting ruined. They backed the truck into the driveway and set up the ramp to go right across the back porch to make sure they had to go as minimal distance as possible to avoid things getting wet. They put down blankets to keep the floors clean and dry and moved very quickly. My boyfriend and I stood in the middle and directed them where to put each box they brought in. They were so quick, I couldn’t believe it when they were finished.

Other items to note:
-If you are fully packed everything goes VERY quickly
-Order your own supplies (tape, packaging wrap, extra boxes) it will save you money and they will use it no problem

These guys are great. When I spoke with Mike on the phone he was courteous and knowledgeable. He booked my move for about a week out which I thought was great. When the moving crew showed up they went straight to work. They asked me what was getting moved, and they secured all the furniture and other items in the truck. At the new house, they moved everything so fast I didn’t know what happened. Nothing was broken in the move. When I have to move again I will call Michael’s Movers again.

The folks at Michael’s Moving & Storage are fantastic. What a great crew! Total pros, and great guys. Our move was complicated. It involved furniture and boxes to be moved between states, with pickups and drop-offs at four locations one of which was a 3-story walk-up. Watching Gabriel, Manny & Leonegotiate a 500 lb 10 ft table down 3 flights without touching a single wall or railing was seriously impressive. They were equally impressive on the delivery end of the project. This is the second (or possibly 3rd?) time we’ve used Michael’s to move both us and our business, and I will use them again in the future. Highly recommended!

Mike’s movers blew our expectations away – we were trapped storing our belongings with other movers who wanted an outrageous amount to get things to New York. Mike’s guys did it with customer service that was twice as good for half the cost.

I had a few scratches on one of my dressers, which is a bummer. Great company! They were extremely easy to work with and made a move that could have been extremely stressful run very smoothly. In addition to moving our furniture, we had them do a ‘partial pack’ which included breakables, TVs and other miscellaneous items. We boxed up everything else ourselves. 3 men came for my local 1 bedroom move. They packed the Uhaul from my old building, drove to my new apt, and unloaded the Uhaul in under 2.5 hours! So efficient and productive- these guys were able to help us save hours! Prices were reasonable and more affordable than a lot of other companies in the area (I originally sent out quotes to about 11 companies). My final payment ended up being even cheaper than the original quote! There was no damage to any of my items which is extremely important to me. Highly recommend and I will use this company again in the future for sure!

I hired Michael’s Moving company to move me from a 1300 sqft 5th flight walk up in dorchester to a 1000 sqft house in Malden in the cold of January. The owner contacted me several times in advance of the move to get a very good handle on the number of boxes and the other items (furniture etc) that needed to be moved and gave me a quote that was incredibly reasonable, and lower than most other places I looked at. His team showed up exactly as scheduled, and despite giving me a heads up that due to all my miserable stairs the time of the move may increase, they actually finished the entire job 15 minutes early. They were very professional, hardworking guys who asked where to put everything that wasn’t clearly labeled once we were in the new house. They even offered to move furniture around once everything was unloaded. A month later I am finally nearly unpacked and all that was damaged was a single glass, which only broke because I packed it poorly. I’m never moving myself again. Do yourself a favor, pack everything up, Hire Michael’s moving, and sit back and grab a beer while they make your move a breeze.

Working with Michael’s Moving for our recent move from Allston to the burbs was a breeze, though you should make sure you explicitly specify that you need hoisting services ahead of time (it costs extra), as my sales person and I got wires crossed apparently.That said, our move crew day-of was absolutely incredible. I have never met four more hardworking and efficient guys. They arrived on time, called ahead as promised, and were ‘on it’ from the time they parked the truck. I’ll never understand how they managed to fit all of our stuff into that truck, but they worked magic.Hoping not to move again any time soon, but I would absolutely use Michael’s Moving again and would request Felix, Charlie, Willy, and Eddie again if I could!

I used Michael’s for a recent move from Harvard Square to Back Bay for both packing and moving. The staff is extremely efficient at their job (there’s a 3-hr minimum charge) and everything arrived in good condition. However, I took off one star since they changed my window from 2-5 pm in the morning on the day of the move to 4-5 pm and were eventually 1.5 hours late, which pushed the move several hours behind schedule. The actual move only lasted around an hour. Only if they were on time, the move would have been perfect.

Michael’s Moving is one of the BEST companies I have ever dealt with. I have use them for a number of years now, for personal and business. Each time I use them, I am more impressed than I was each time before. From professionalism to kindness. This ranges from the Boss to the movers. Including the accountant. I am 100% a fan. Do I refer them? YES! by all means, and will continue to do so. If I can not get them the date I want, I WAIT! Because they are worth waiting for.

We had a cross town move in the Boston area. The ordering and quote process was professional, comprehensive, and easy. On the day of the move, the team showed up on time, were courteous and efficient, and did a great job. They finished on time, and the price was exactly what we were quoted. A couple minor snags came up along the way, and the team handled it very smoothly without inconveniencing us or piling on extra charges. The couple times minor bumps and scrapes came up during the move (which is inevitable) they were up-front and honest about it, and asked us to check for damage (there was none to speak of). We were well prepared and clear about what we wanted, and Michael’s did a great job of listening to and accommodating our wishes.

A couple notes:
– The truck (25 ft) was bigger than we had envisioned, so make sure to be prepared for that.
– Do everything you can to clear spaces for the truck before hand (which means coordinating with the city(s) a bit and notifying your neighbors as best you can). The team did their best to be flexible, but with a big moving truck, you really need to be prepared.
– If you have your own moving stuff (tape, padding, covers, etc.), let them know. They might charge if they use their stuff, but they’ll use yours if you have it.
– Be as prepared as you can. You’re mostly paying for the movers’ time, so don’t waste it with stuff you could have done beforehand (e.g. getting stuff boxed up). If you have everything ready to move they are *very* efficient at moving it. Save yourself some head/back/wallet aches by being ready.

Easy and efficient booking experience. I also needed to store my stuff for a week, which they were able to do without overcharging like some other companies. The movers were great, took care of the stuff and packaged as needed for storage. There was a small problem with time charged, but when I spoke with the company they determined where the problem was and fixed the issue. Fair prices, excellent moving team, and a company that does want to do right by customers.

The crew that came to my place was really accommodating and helpful. They made sure all my stuff was carefully packed, picked up and dropped off not minding how tired they must be after few hours but they went on going without any tantrums. I used Michael’s for the second time in July 2015. The first time was in 2010, and I remembered having great luck. This time was even better. The crew was great in all regards. On time, didn’t break anything, efficient, respectful, and everything you could want. Before we started, the quote was refined a few times, and when you we were done, they actually beat the quote by a few bucks – which was great. All told, a great experience, and I will call them again.

If there were 10 stars to give I would give this company 11. I cannot believe how easy, and calming it was to have these three gentlemen move some of my most precious items. Along with everything else I own! If you have the need to have a mover this is the best choice. Try to request Caesar, Yovanne, and Wilson . Since it a local business I went with them and avoided the big companies. The sales rep was professional and promised what I wanted, however the movers esp the supervisor was too much rushed, then just somehow threw the things in the closet did not help move part of the kitchen and left. Their behavior was professional though. I felt that they were not briefed properly about the nature of our move. We had to move some of our stuff. I was upset and expressed my concern about the overall service by company.. The company customer spl took my concerns seriously and followed up with me so they can coach their staff. So I think that they will offer better service next time.

Moving is always stressful and having your truck in storage for a night and it being driven to a new state is even more stressful. My crew from Michael’s was exceptional. Early on day 1 of the move. Beyond efficient with my partial pack. One person packed the kitchen while the other two got everything else wrapped and prepped to move down the elevator to the truck. Day 2 they hit traffic but kept me updated on their arrival time. The parking spot for the truck wasn’t very convenient to the door and it was 100 degrees out but they still worked hard and efficiently. They made sure everything was where I wanted it before they left to return to Boston.

I’ve moved a few times in my life. This was my second move with a company as an adult and this whole company was impressive. Polite and thorough office staff. Hard-working and polite moving crew (never saw their masks off either!) I highly highly recommend Michael’s.

We have to move boxes from Quincy to a warehouse in Chelsea. The drop off was in freight forwarding company. This took a little time as there was a queue in the drop off locations. The guys were very patient and helpful as we waited for the drop off. I was embarrassed that it was taking time but the guys were very helpful. Its the best service without a doubt.

I recently bought a second home in FL and went searching for quotes to move some furniture and personal belongings. I checked back with a couple of movers I’ve used in the past and then I contacted Michael’s. Yay me, I was connected to Bryan, a wicked cool, professional but extremely down to earth, easy to talk too, funny, but again, professional. After speaking with Bryan for much longer than necessary, cuz he’s wicked cool, I made my decision to go with Michael’s. The pricing was excellent, the services they provided are way more than anything I’ve ever received and their trucks, moving GENTLEMEN, and so much more exceeded my expectations. In hindsight, I should have expected all that and a bag of chips cuz Bryan said that’s what I’d get. I typically don’t write reviews but these guy’z are PISSAH, to put it in simple Bostonian words. It turns out that we were not the only ones leaving California and moving companies were in short supply. The original mover we planned to use couldn’t load the truck until AFTER our house closed and the new owners would have moved in. I have used Michael’s Moving 4 times in the last 4 years. I wouldn’t call anyone else. The company is easy to do business with, the pricing is fair, the moving teams are efficient, careful, personable, and caring, and they actually make the moves fun. When we are done I’m always so glad they were with me for the day.
They have moved me in and out of all kinds of urban scenarios: street parking, streets with no parking, elevator buildings, loading dock buildings, stairs with weird turns, and storage units. They have moved me in rain, in snow, and on hot days. They have moved me with a months notice and with 2 days notice. They’ve moved precious art work, awkward furniture, and technology. Nothing has ever broken, been lost, or been scratched.
Sometimes I’m not fully packed and they help me finish up. They never even give it a second thought when they are helping me empty the fridge or get the last hangers in the box! Sometimes they complete the move so quickly they stay around and help me unpack with the remaining time. Almost every time they help me set up all the furniture and often rearrange it a few times until we get it where I want it.
Obviously I’m a big fan. I might just keep moving this often so I can hang out with the Michael’s teams!

I used Michaels’ Moving this past weekend for our move. I was highly impressed with their punctuality, professionalism, and efficiency. We had a lot of furniture and boxes as we were a family of 4 and had previously lived at our last place for over 15 years and accumulated a lot of stuff during that time. They were done within a few hours and honestly, the price wasn’t too bad.

Found Michael’s through Google and couldn’t have picked a better moving company. From the start I received a phone call going over prices, and what exactly I needed to be moved, etc. they called several times before the move in date to make sure nothing has changed. The day of the move the movers were extremely professional, went above and beyond. Super efficient. Got the job done right away. I was really hesitant to hire a moving company as I’d always moved myself, but with an infant and pet my husband convinced me we could use the help. Best decision! Crystal and Brian made me feel at ease up until the day of the move and were even flexible when I changed the date, added two stops and increased the inventory. We were able to book their services 2 weeks before move-out date. The movers arrived on time, prepared with a truck and tools to dissemble our furniture. They also made a stop on the way to pick up a few more furniture items. Their rates were fair; we ended up paying less that the estimate.

We used Michaels to move my mother into assisted living. After a phone call with the arrival time, The movers César, Jaime and Leo arrived exactly when they said they would. They were very professional and worked very efficiently. This service was worth every penny for me. The movers were fast and incredibly efficient even during a 9/1 move; they even sent an extra mover with all trucks that day to ensure efficiency. They wrapped large items and moved furniture carefully. I had a few monitors I didn’t have boxes for that they carefully packed for me. They also offered items for purchase during the move like a mattress bag. On top of that, they made the entire process extremely easy, from receiving a VERY prompt quote, booking the service and providing details about the move entirely online. We even received a nice discount for booking an ‘off-peak’ date. On the day of the move, the movers called 30 minutes before arrival as planned, and arrived exactly on time. The crew, lead by Miguel, was kind, professional, and extremely efficient. While we did have elevators on either end of the move, the three guys were able to safely move all of our furniture from our 1 bed apartment within about 2 hours, start to finish, with no damage at all. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the service, and I know I will be recommending them to friends in the future, as well as booking them for any future moves of my own!

I am blown away by Michael’s Moving and Storage! I am a type-A, planning person so I booked my August move a few months earlier in mid-May. Michael’s sales team was awesome, they walked me through the whole process, sent me quotes and answered every question I had. Leading up to the move, I had a question about permitting and they looked into it for me as well. They didn’t offer to get permits which I know some other moving companies take care for you but the $$ was so much more affordable than anywhere else I found. I had two pick up locations and one drop off and I was tight on time as the drop off spot I could only reserve permitting for until 11 AM. Angel, Willy and Sig called 15 minutes before the earliest end of my pick-up hour range (I was told 7-8 was the earliest and I got a call at 6:45 saying they were on the way!). Angel, Willy and Sig were incredible efficient, professional and friendly. They did an INCREDIBLE job. It was not an easy pick up with the two locations and narrow Boston streets and they navigated a giant truck through it all. Honestly I am blown away. I seriously would look no further than Michael’s for your move!

They moved a couch that I was sure was not going to fit through a tiny door and stairwell no problem. They even stayed after the job to help us unload our u-haul full of boxes—what were we thinking that we could unload a Uhaul. Will undoubtedly be using these guys again. This is the first review I ever write and probably will ever write. These guys are incredible. My wife and I used them a couple of times over the last few years and we had a great experience. We decided to use them again for a big move from Boston to Baltimore and they were nothing but unbelievable. Our Boston large full 1 bedroom wwas emptied in an hour. They kept in touch when on their way and returned the whole apartment back to normal in Baltimore. In an hour. Just world class service.

Recently had a great experience with Michael’s – the process was straight forward and the entire team was very responsive. Setting up was as easy as walking through each room/item and the quote was accurate. The day-of team could not have been better. The three guys were early, responsive, and very kind. They handled everything with care and made for a stress free move. There was a slight hiccup in billing – we got charged a little extra for a timing mistake – but I called the office and we got it resolved within a few days. Moving is super stressful but if you approach the process calmly and honestly, Michael’s seems to definitely do the same. Recommend them for sure!

Angel and the boys arrived on time and was very professional. They moved my two bedroom in about 5 hrs. They did not ding the furniture or the walls and was able to squeeze a king mattress up a very tight set of stairs. I’d definitely recommend using Michael’s.

Not only did they arrive on time but they were ten minutes early, they worked very efficiently and quickly, and they were also very outgoing and personable. Also during covid-19, they all made sure to maintain proper social distancing and all wore masks. Felix and his team arrived promptly at 7am for our 7-8am arrival window. They were quick and carful with our things, and even dealt with a less than ideal parking situation in front of the building. Despite the hot weather and lack of air conditioning, all of our stuff was in our new place by early afternoon. The team reassembled any furniture that was taken apart for moving and cleaned up very nicely. We will definitely use them for future moves!

Thank you for an excellent, smooth move, Michael’s Movers! My husband and I moved last weekend and Felix was our main point of contact for the move. Felix was even able to come 2 hours prior to our moving window which was helpful (he called to ask if that was ok first). Any move is a tough, stressful experience but moving during covid-19 and an absolute downpour was not something we were looking forward to. That being said the guys from Michael’s were fantastic. From Bryan walking us through the process step by step during our initial call to the moving crew crusing through and finishing our entire 2 bed apartment move to our brand new home in under 5 hours, the Michael’s team was nothing short of fantastic. We did an online appointment for a phone call around 9pm for the movers to help ASAP, as in the next day. The company called me in the morning and by 1pm the movers were there helping!! I called in the morning to see if I could get a last minute move for the same day. They were able to accommodate my request They came in the 30 minute window as promised (boston traffic is nuts). They were very professional and great at making sure none of my furniture was damaged. They did not hit even one wall either moving out or moving my furniture into the new place. I was happy with Michael’s. I was particularly impressed by George Perez. We moved from Washington, DC to Boston. He packed the entire truck by himself (meaning, he somehow got huge items like our sofa into the truck). He packed everything with great care. When he arrived at our place in Boston, he had two guys with him. He was equally professional and highly competent during the move in and directed his two men effectively. Very impressive.

I was relocating for work and I used the company to move me from Langhorne, PA to Waltham, MA. One of the guys at the office gave me a call the day before my move to confirm their arrival the next day. In the morning, the driver gave me a call that they will arrive within the promised window of arrival, and they did. When they arrived, the two guy were very polite and handled by furniture very well, they wrapped all the furniture without me even asking. The whole process took about 3 hours. Then they told me that they will drive straight to Boston, and they will deliver my belongings the next morning. Everything arrived safe. The two gentlemen helped me setting up the furniture the way I wanted. They put my bed together which was very nice of them. I can’t thank them enough. Excellent service!

We used this company when relocating my business from the basement of my home into our first office this past month. I have a lot of expensive and large equipment like t-shirt screening machines, computers, cameras, flyers, and business gear, as well as some furniture. I waited until the last minute to schedule my move because I procrastinate at everything, but surprisingly they were able to fit me in for the date I wanted. Everything was lower than the rates that I expected or had been quoted from other companies so that was a major bonus. They treated all of my belongings as if they were there own, and moved them ever so delicately but insanely quickly. I could never organize a move like that, but I guess that’s why they are the pros. Not even a single flyer was shifted in the boxes when I opened them. I really appreciate the hard work this company does and I would recommend using them.

Angel, Juan, and Sig came at 8am on a Saturday and hauled all of my belongings down 3 flights of stairs to haul it up another 2 flights of stairs in 3 hours. Oh, and I have a ton of stuff. We’re talking a 3-seater couch, 4 arm chairs, 2 dining tables, a rowing machine,…among other things… and like 30 boxes…I saw them take 2 breaks total (is that even human?) and was impressed by their resolve, professionalism, and hustle. I would absolutely recommend them without hesitation. While I hope i don’t have to move again anytime soon, I would call on them again whenever that time comes. Thank you gentlemen!
